11/3/2010, Allentown, PA: integraONE, PA’s leading IT integrator, recently completed its role in a major instructional technology improvement effort at Lehigh Career & Technical Institute (LCTI) in Schnecksville, PA. The technology upgrade was made possible by a U.S. Department of Education grant secured through Congressman Charlie Dent’s office and will enhance the technical and academic skills of students in the Material Handling/Logistics Technology programs.
 
integraONE was the chosen provider for the installation of 50 HP Thin Client workstations and an HP Blade SAN system to equip two new state-of-the-art classrooms located within the Distribution Center on LCTI’s campus. The Thin Client workstations offer LCTI the benefits of low power and maintenance requirements and ease of use for students. integraONE staff provided all necessary hardware, software and installation services for the project.

Stan Nester, Supervisor of Technology for LCTI, described his reasons for selecting integraONE for this initiative. “We needed a vendor who had an established partnership with HP, was on the state contract, and was preferably a local business. We already had a history of great experiences with integraONE, plus they met all of those other criteria.”                                                   

LCTI unveiled the new classrooms and technology enhancements at an event honoring Congressman Dent for his continuous support of career and technical education on Monday, October 25, 2010.
